She wasn't sure what to do
Not the greatest picture, but cute nonetheless
Delish!!!!!!!
She actually sat and opened her presents...surprise!
So, Avery's birthday turned out well. We were going to have a BBQ at the park by our house with both sides of our family. It was sort of windy and I hate BBQ's in wind so we ended up using Brett's brothers house. We ate and hung out and visited. Avery had fun opening her presents and eating her own cake.
I was going to make her a sand castle cake that I saw in a magazine, but then I came across a caterpillar cake and could not pass it up. So, I made her the purple and blue caterpillar cake and I think it turned out pretty cute. Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate Avery's first year!!

Way cute cake! You always do a great job on your birthday cakes...I'll have to have you make mine next month...j/k.
The cake looks cute! Looks like she did a good job of digging into her cake! What a cutie! Happy Birthday Avery!
Wish we could have been there! The cake is so cute! And so is the little girl eating it!
Love you guys!
I love the cake! I am going to attempt to make Josh a cake this year for his birthday... we'll see how that goes!
Cute cake!-- I'm impressed. My sister-in-law did one like that for my little nephew, what a cute idea--I could never do it. She is darling. She's changed a lot. Way cute.
I LOVE that cake, how cute! You are so good at making cakes! Ammon wants a Thomas Cake for his bday... I think I will just buy it. I am not creative like you.
