Easton

Easton
Easton is the cutest little boy we know! He rightfully earned the nickname 'BEASTY' when he was a baby and it has stuck with him. He is such a sweet little mommy's boy and we are ALL at his Beck and call. Easton loves cars, snacks, and playing outside. He is talking up a storm and it seems like he learns something new every single day. He is at such a fun age. We LOVE LOVE LOVE this little guy!

Ainslee

Ainslee
Ainslee is the baby and she just turned ONE!! This child is a handful!!! She hasn't quite grown out of the difficult phase.....that she has been in since she was born, but we still find ways to find her sweet side! Hearing her baby giggles and watching her discover & learn new things make all the whininess......just a little easier to deal with. Aaaahhh, we love this Ainslee Girl!!

Avery

Avery
Oh our cute little Avery! With her blue eyes & blonde hair, she is one of the cutest 4 year olds around!! This girl is stubborn! She definitely keeps us on our toes. She is quite unpredictable, which makes for a lot of laughs! Avery is our TREAT-FREAK! We can always guess what is on her mind. My favorite thing about Avery is her smiles. She always has one for us no matter what and that makes everyones day just a little better. She attends preschool and says she doesn't like it, but secretly we know she does ;). We are so lucky to have this cute girl in our family! We can't get enough of her.

Kobe Dylan

Kobe Dylan
Kobe is our first child, born in 2004. He was 4 months early and weighed a whopping 1 lb. 4 oz.! We got to be with Kobe for 4 wonderful weeks. I feel so blessed to have been chosen to raise one of God's perfect children. We love him and thank Heavenly Father everyday that he is part of our family. We have a treasure in heaven.

Quinnlyn

Quinnlyn
Quinnie just turned 6! She is growing faster than we can keep up with! She loves going to first grade and is doing really well! She picks up on things very quickly and LOVES learning. She's seriously a sponge. Her favorite thing to do is write notes and draw pictures for her friends & family. You should see our continual stack of papers. Quinnlyn is creative & spunky & totally independant. We love her like crazy!

Here it is! In all it's Glory...in a very long post

So you want to know all about Indiana huh? Okay well, lets begin with the house.

Here is what you see when you are standing in my entry way. (well more like just after my entryway)

And another view of my front room (with Quinnlyn in her beautiful princess gown...I think she snuck into every picture)and yes, it is a bit messy but I was still sort of unpacking.

My dining area...with a messy table...and princess Quinnlyn. To the left you can barely see the entrance into the kitchen.

A close up of my cute decor...yes I know it may not come off but it is cute right?

Our half bathroom. It is painted blue with bead board. Isn't it cute (the sink). This room came already decorated, rugs & pics, and all...how nice is that?

Quinnlyn and Avery's rooms. They were already painted and just happened to kind of go with my decor so that was nice. They are a bit bigger than their old rooms. And Quinnlyn's closet is pretty big. The weird thing is they don't have lights. We have to plug in lamps to a certain plug and the light switch controls that one plug...weird but it isn't inconvenient at all.

The girls' bathroom...already painted yellow to match my decor.

Mater bedroom (again a little messy). Yes I know it is bright blue and green, not what I would have chosen, but it isn't bad. It's pretty good size. To the left we have our bathroom (which is 2 different shade of blue with white wood trim) and our walk-in closet which is pretty big (considering what we did have).

On the way up the stairs you see this. The only place to put my blocks (I miss my plant shelves).

Looking into my entryway. To the right is my water heater and air conditioner closet (I know so weird huh but I have gotten use to it...and it has enough room to store my vacuum and mop and broom so that is nice). To the left is 'THE TORNADO CLOSET' (named by me)...I took a special picture of that so you can see it. And also to the left closest to the front door is the 1/2 bath. Oh yea, and you can see the stairway I think (on the right next to the dirty mirror on the wall...which I still have not cleaned.)

'THE TORNADO CLOSET' Yes, it is pitiful...I believe it measures about 2 ft by 3 ft. Honestly, the first thing I looked for when I got here was my tornado shelter...I was very disappointed to find this as my only inside room.

My kitchen. The worst thing about this house is that my laundry room is a closet in the kitchen. Oh well.

My backyard. It's so weird out here. Everybody basically shares a common grassy area (since grass grows freely out here). We still have our own property, but most people don't put up fences. And, there are little ponds/lakes everywhere most of them are for fishing. I am glad I don't have one in my backyard, but there is one across the street behind the houses.

This is the house
My cute little rocking chair (it's actually the landlady's) but we get to have it on our porch...yep I have a cute little porch.

This is my little neighborhood...kind of cute huh?

So there it is...Do you love it. I kind of do. I think I might enjoy Indiana (ask me again in the winter). The humidity is not as bad as people had me to believe. And, after it rains, it's not too humid at all...like today (we had a pretty big rainstorm last night) it's probably in the 70's with a breeze. Oh yes, when it rains, it really rains. Once the clouds come in down comes the raindrops. But, it moves through pretty quickly...unfortunatley, we usually have severe thunderstorm warnings with our rain. Our second day here there was a tornado warning in the county next to us...I was a bit freaked out...welcome to Indiana! We have a community pool (about 4 little neighborhoods like ours share it) and it has a baby pool and a park next to it. Downtown is fun. It has a great mall. I will share pics of that another time (downtown...not the mall). Anyway, I think that is about it. We miss 'home', but this place isn't too bad.

It's like Wisteria Lane! Cute! I'm sure you will come to love it too! I hope you guys make lots of friends there because that always makes it feel more like home! I was so glad to meet you and make some new friends when we moved here! I already knew Erin and Clenece, but I just love this area because there's so many nice families that are our age.

I LOVE IT, LOVE IT LOVE IT!! I really do. I love how new it is compared to our soon to be home. I love the that cute bathroom downstairs, and the girls room. Kind of nice to have almost everything matching with the paint. It looks really big & it must be nice to have a place for all your chairs in the front room now. lol. Well done Kim! I am jealous!

Kim...I love it! I knew you would love it when you got there. Your home looks like you have already been living there for months. You are so good to get everything decorated so quickly. I have been here 7 months and it looks like I just moved in. Shame shame I know. I am glad that you are doing good. Thanks for the pictures. I was really looking forward to them.

I can't believe you already have everything hung and put away! Sounds like you are in good spirits as well. Hopefully we'll get a chance to visit sometime in the next four years.
Can you change the family picture on my blog or tell me how to do it?
