Easton

Easton
Easton is the cutest little boy we know! He rightfully earned the nickname 'BEASTY' when he was a baby and it has stuck with him. He is such a sweet little mommy's boy and we are ALL at his Beck and call. Easton loves cars, snacks, and playing outside. He is talking up a storm and it seems like he learns something new every single day. He is at such a fun age. We LOVE LOVE LOVE this little guy!

Ainslee

Ainslee
Ainslee is the baby and she just turned ONE!! This child is a handful!!! She hasn't quite grown out of the difficult phase.....that she has been in since she was born, but we still find ways to find her sweet side! Hearing her baby giggles and watching her discover & learn new things make all the whininess......just a little easier to deal with. Aaaahhh, we love this Ainslee Girl!!

Avery

Avery
Oh our cute little Avery! With her blue eyes & blonde hair, she is one of the cutest 4 year olds around!! This girl is stubborn! She definitely keeps us on our toes. She is quite unpredictable, which makes for a lot of laughs! Avery is our TREAT-FREAK! We can always guess what is on her mind. My favorite thing about Avery is her smiles. She always has one for us no matter what and that makes everyones day just a little better. She attends preschool and says she doesn't like it, but secretly we know she does ;). We are so lucky to have this cute girl in our family! We can't get enough of her.

Kobe Dylan

Kobe Dylan
Kobe is our first child, born in 2004. He was 4 months early and weighed a whopping 1 lb. 4 oz.! We got to be with Kobe for 4 wonderful weeks. I feel so blessed to have been chosen to raise one of God's perfect children. We love him and thank Heavenly Father everyday that he is part of our family. We have a treasure in heaven.

Quinnlyn

Quinnlyn
Quinnie just turned 6! She is growing faster than we can keep up with! She loves going to first grade and is doing really well! She picks up on things very quickly and LOVES learning. She's seriously a sponge. Her favorite thing to do is write notes and draw pictures for her friends & family. You should see our continual stack of papers. Quinnlyn is creative & spunky & totally independant. We love her like crazy!

The Jones Happenings

So before we moved, a friend (who I use to dance with on drill team) took the girls' pictures. She's a photographer and she did a little contest on her blog that I happened to win, & a free photo session was my reward. I was super excited. We just did a a fun, non-formal photo shoot at the new splash pad in town & the green-gate village. I think she did a great job seeing as Quinnlyn & Avery are so difficult to take pictures of! Quinnie won't smile for real, & Avery won't sit still for a second. Anyway, here are some of my favorites and if you need a photographer, Mikki is great (and affordable which is most important!) Check her out: Captured by Mikki

And now for the update on us. This past week Quinnlyn has been sick. Same thing Avery had (which I think is Rotavirus but we didn't go to the doc so that is a mom-diagnosis). She is over it and now we are all back to normal. So because of the sick child, we had a very uneventful week. Lot's of T.V watching and that is about it. I did venture out last tuesday to get some things done & actually drove on the freeway by myself. I'll tell you what, this place is super confusing. The freeways split all the time & it's not an obvious split....I had to make a couple of last minute guesses as to which side I needed to stay on. And the stupid one way streets kill me! A couple of weeks ago I seriously drove down the wrong way. Luckily no one cars were coming and no one saw me make a fool of myself (I actually didn't even know it was a one way road until I drove down it again the right way and saw the sign). Oh well, I have four years to get it right.

So what is Quinnie up to?
-She puts on her princess dresses every single day! And, if I call her Quinnlyn she says (sometimes yells): "I'm not Quinnlyn! I'm sleeping beauty (or belle, or snow white)."
-She doesn't eat anything these days.
-She still loves watching her princess movies and hates that I will only let her watch one every other day. She knows many many princess movie songs and sounds so cute trying to sing them.
-She whines all day. And cries over the tiniest things.

Everything else is about the same. Lately I will look at her and just can't believe how old she is getting. We certainly love her!

And now our Avery. Basically, the newest thing with her is that she is spitting out new words all the time. It's so fun. On her new word list we have: Binkie, baby, eat, cheese, hot dog, puppy, bath, ball, jesus, shoes, candy (yes candy), quinnie, more, & mine. She also says buzzzzzzzzz when she hears a buzz (like the dishwasher or a bee etc.) And my favorite, if we say: "Toot-Toot" she automatically says "Beep-Beep" right after. it is super cute!!!
-She has given up her morning nap. Such a sad time for us! I tried to push it on her but she just cried each day for the whole time.
-She is really good at communicating with me (if she can't say the word). Today she let me know that Quinnie hit her on the head. And she understands everything I say to her.
-She loves brushing her teeth and getting her hair done
-She is eating so much (such a change from when she was sick). She will eat two bowls of cereal and still ask for more. And she always wants a snack. Luckily she is my fruit eater and I give her apples, plums, and grapes all day.
-She loves wearing her shoes and is always asking me to put them on for her. And she is totally into books these days.
-Her and Quinnie are actually starting to play together and it is sooooo nice.Avery wants to do everything Quinnie does and copies her all the time. FINALLY! I think it will only get better.
-She gets so excited over 4 things. Taking a bath, eating breakfast, going outside, and having Daddy come home. The minute I mention any one of those things, she starts babbling and squealing and it is so funny.

Aren't they so cute!

That is all! Brett and I are the same. By the way, all you who are dying of heat in St. George. The weather the past 3 days has been wonderful! I would say around 80' and we always have a cool breeze. Not swimming weather (because I am use to 100') which is unfortunate because I finally got our pool key but that's okay.
