Quinnlyn bore her testimony yesterday at church. All by herself!!! She didn't hesitate at all and knew exactly what she wanted to say (we didn't help her one bit). Maybe we are doing something right as parents after all. We are so proud of her.
Here is the DENTAL STUDENT coming home from a long day. I think he looks super cute in his scrubs. I suppose he is enjoying school as much as he can. He had his first couple of tests this last week and hopefully they went well.
On Thursday the girls and I went to the zoo with some people from our ward. We didn't get around to seeing much, but we witnessed a monkey fight, an elephant bath, and a dolphin show. The girls had fun playing in the splash pad too. We will definatley have to go back sometime.
Last Saturday we went to the Marion County Fair. It is just down the street from our house. The girls had fun riding rides, and we splurged on cotton candy and lemonade (they make a fortune there!!)
Lets see, what else happened this last week? We spent $500 dollars on a new radiator for our car (such a bummer). We mowed the lawn (I never thought I would get satisfaction out of a mowed lawn, but I do...I must be growing up). Avery was sick for about the whole week...diarrhea, some throwing up, ornery, and she seriously didn't eat for 4 whole days...I wonder how much weight she lost. Luckily she was drinking fine. And, she is seeming to be better so that is good. I got to take a break from mommmy-time and hang out with a bunch of dental wives. We had a little pot-luck dinner and then went to an outdoor 'oldie' movie. Very fun!
And that is our week in a nutshell. We are doing well...our house is beginning to feel like home. Things are good.

How neat to hear Quinnlyn bare her testimony in chruch, she growing up to fast. You guys are such good parents.... & What a stud Brett is in his scrubs...lol...I am glad you guys are feeling more comfortable in your new area. It really sounds as if things are coming together out well. Best of luck, WE Miss you guys!
Kennedy wanted to bear her testimony as well--though I don't think she really knew what it would mean once she got Matt up to the pulpit. Wish we were closer to you guys.
sounds like you guys are doing great. other than the car troubles and all.
That is pretty cute about Quinnlyn and her testimony. I think it shows a whole bunch of the kinda parents you are.
Oh ya I have been meaning to ask you.. Where do you buy your ribbons for making bows? Any particular store? Just leave me a comment on my blog.
