Easton

Easton
Easton is the cutest little boy we know! He rightfully earned the nickname 'BEASTY' when he was a baby and it has stuck with him. He is such a sweet little mommy's boy and we are ALL at his Beck and call. Easton loves cars, snacks, and playing outside. He is talking up a storm and it seems like he learns something new every single day. He is at such a fun age. We LOVE LOVE LOVE this little guy!

Ainslee

Ainslee
Ainslee is the baby and she just turned ONE!! This child is a handful!!! She hasn't quite grown out of the difficult phase.....that she has been in since she was born, but we still find ways to find her sweet side! Hearing her baby giggles and watching her discover & learn new things make all the whininess......just a little easier to deal with. Aaaahhh, we love this Ainslee Girl!!

Avery

Avery
Oh our cute little Avery! With her blue eyes & blonde hair, she is one of the cutest 4 year olds around!! This girl is stubborn! She definitely keeps us on our toes. She is quite unpredictable, which makes for a lot of laughs! Avery is our TREAT-FREAK! We can always guess what is on her mind. My favorite thing about Avery is her smiles. She always has one for us no matter what and that makes everyones day just a little better. She attends preschool and says she doesn't like it, but secretly we know she does ;). We are so lucky to have this cute girl in our family! We can't get enough of her.

Kobe Dylan

Kobe Dylan
Kobe is our first child, born in 2004. He was 4 months early and weighed a whopping 1 lb. 4 oz.! We got to be with Kobe for 4 wonderful weeks. I feel so blessed to have been chosen to raise one of God's perfect children. We love him and thank Heavenly Father everyday that he is part of our family. We have a treasure in heaven.

Quinnlyn

Quinnlyn
Quinnie just turned 6! She is growing faster than we can keep up with! She loves going to first grade and is doing really well! She picks up on things very quickly and LOVES learning. She's seriously a sponge. Her favorite thing to do is write notes and draw pictures for her friends & family. You should see our continual stack of papers. Quinnlyn is creative & spunky & totally independant. We love her like crazy!

1/2 empty or 1/2 full?

Well, by nature I am a "Glass 1/2 empty" kind of person. I tend to focus on the negative instead of the positive....and I really hate that. Well, today my glass is 1/2 full. It's time I find more reasons to happy then not so here I go:

-I have 2 beautiful, healthy daughters
-I have a perfect son (how many parents get to say that?)who I know for certain that I can see again
-I have a husband who loves me even when I wear my P.J's all day long
-I live in a house and not an apartment!!!
-I have great friends (some near...some far...but friends nonetheless)
-I have wonderful family who I know I can count on
-I can see & smell & hear & touch & taste all the beautiful things this world has to offer
-I have hot water to shower in
-My kids love me (I think)
-We are actually in Dental School
-I have the internet
-My grass is green and the weather is perfect
-My husband doesn't care if the house is spotless (and neither do I for that matter)
-I have a bed to sleep in (I love my bed)
-My kids still take afternoon naps
-I know the purpose of this life
-I've already spoken in church so I won't have to do it for atleast another year
-My neighbors are for the most part quiet
-I get to stay home with my kids.(I never have to miss the best parts of the day! I can barely last a few hours without needing to see them!!!)
-I haven't had to get in my tornado closet yet
-My house is somewhat clean
-I don't have to clean the toilets if I don't want because I am expecting no visitors
-I already know what I am making for dinner
-My kids play & laugh together finally!
-I am blessed beyond measure--in every single aspect of my life

My greatest source of joy!!!

For your sake, I will stop my list right there. Yes, I do have so many things that make my life wonderful! And of course, I know from whom this all comes from. I need to be better at seeing my glass half full...in fact I would say more often than not, that MY CUP OVERFLOWETH!!!

Kim, I know I need to be better at being more positive as well! We really are blessed to have what we have and know where it comes from, and where we come from for that matter! Thanks for your post!

Man you have a cute hubby! ;) The whole family is cute, but for some reason I have been thinking about Brett today and what a fun brother he was (I guess still is).
Glad you haven't had to use the tornado closet!
