Easton

Easton
Easton is the cutest little boy we know! He rightfully earned the nickname 'BEASTY' when he was a baby and it has stuck with him. He is such a sweet little mommy's boy and we are ALL at his Beck and call. Easton loves cars, snacks, and playing outside. He is talking up a storm and it seems like he learns something new every single day. He is at such a fun age. We LOVE LOVE LOVE this little guy!

Ainslee

Ainslee
Ainslee is the baby and she just turned ONE!! This child is a handful!!! She hasn't quite grown out of the difficult phase.....that she has been in since she was born, but we still find ways to find her sweet side! Hearing her baby giggles and watching her discover & learn new things make all the whininess......just a little easier to deal with. Aaaahhh, we love this Ainslee Girl!!

Avery

Avery
Oh our cute little Avery! With her blue eyes & blonde hair, she is one of the cutest 4 year olds around!! This girl is stubborn! She definitely keeps us on our toes. She is quite unpredictable, which makes for a lot of laughs! Avery is our TREAT-FREAK! We can always guess what is on her mind. My favorite thing about Avery is her smiles. She always has one for us no matter what and that makes everyones day just a little better. She attends preschool and says she doesn't like it, but secretly we know she does ;). We are so lucky to have this cute girl in our family! We can't get enough of her.

Kobe Dylan

Kobe Dylan
Kobe is our first child, born in 2004. He was 4 months early and weighed a whopping 1 lb. 4 oz.! We got to be with Kobe for 4 wonderful weeks. I feel so blessed to have been chosen to raise one of God's perfect children. We love him and thank Heavenly Father everyday that he is part of our family. We have a treasure in heaven.

Quinnlyn

Quinnlyn
Quinnie just turned 6! She is growing faster than we can keep up with! She loves going to first grade and is doing really well! She picks up on things very quickly and LOVES learning. She's seriously a sponge. Her favorite thing to do is write notes and draw pictures for her friends & family. You should see our continual stack of papers. Quinnlyn is creative & spunky & totally independant. We love her like crazy!

Back to the grind.....

We had a really great Thanksgiving!!!!! We drove up to Michigan (a 3 1/2 hour drive) to spend the holiday with our good friends THE THOMPSONS. It was really great to see them! Thanksgiving was awesome! It was MY first one without seeing my family and that was a little sad, but we managed to make some yummy food and I think we all ate a little too much (but isn't that what you do?) I even made the Hannig family traditional noodles (for the mashed potatoes) all by myself and they turned out really good. I also made my very first Lemon Merengue Pie (for Brett) and I am pretty proud of myself. Clenece's friend Juli & her husband and kids joined us also. She made the turkey which was a relief cause Clenece and I don't really know how to cook a huge bird! Clenece made a ton of yummy stuff too....pies, salad, rolls...not to mention the rest of the dinners she made us while we were there.

Clenece and I were going to wake up early to do black Friday, but her daughter Mckenna came down with Pnuemonia (yes we are on the look-out for pnuemonia at our house) so we didn't get out shopping until about 10:00. I was kind of relieved. I have never done Black Friday and don't think I ever want to brave the crazy people that attend. We did get some good deals and thankfully missed all the huge long lines.

On Saturday, Clenece and I went to see TWILIGHT. I actually enjoyed it. But I did prepare myself for a little 'cheesiness' so it didn't come as a disappointment to me. We also got to talk to our family on Nick & Clenece's webcam! It was fun to see my family....we are going to have to buy one of those for sure!!!

Quinnlyn's Bed

This is Clenece....She is such a great hostess.

We cam home today. We were sad to leave but had to get going before the snow came down. We did hit a little snowfall and the drive home was really pretty...everything was white. But, I am glad that once we arrived in Indianapolis, there wasn't any snow....I'm not ready for that quite yet. Quinnlyn is though....she was very set on building a snowman when we got home...oh well.
So here we are after a nice long weekend. Brett goes back to school tomorrow and will start finals in a week. And then we go home for Christmas. If you feel inclined to do so....pray that we don't get the pnuemonia at our house....I am super paranoid!
Thanks THOMPSONS for a great weekend!
