Easton

Easton
Easton is the cutest little boy we know! He rightfully earned the nickname 'BEASTY' when he was a baby and it has stuck with him. He is such a sweet little mommy's boy and we are ALL at his Beck and call. Easton loves cars, snacks, and playing outside. He is talking up a storm and it seems like he learns something new every single day. He is at such a fun age. We LOVE LOVE LOVE this little guy!

Ainslee

Ainslee
Ainslee is the baby and she just turned ONE!! This child is a handful!!! She hasn't quite grown out of the difficult phase.....that she has been in since she was born, but we still find ways to find her sweet side! Hearing her baby giggles and watching her discover & learn new things make all the whininess......just a little easier to deal with. Aaaahhh, we love this Ainslee Girl!!

Avery

Avery
Oh our cute little Avery! With her blue eyes & blonde hair, she is one of the cutest 4 year olds around!! This girl is stubborn! She definitely keeps us on our toes. She is quite unpredictable, which makes for a lot of laughs! Avery is our TREAT-FREAK! We can always guess what is on her mind. My favorite thing about Avery is her smiles. She always has one for us no matter what and that makes everyones day just a little better. She attends preschool and says she doesn't like it, but secretly we know she does ;). We are so lucky to have this cute girl in our family! We can't get enough of her.

Kobe Dylan

Kobe Dylan
Kobe is our first child, born in 2004. He was 4 months early and weighed a whopping 1 lb. 4 oz.! We got to be with Kobe for 4 wonderful weeks. I feel so blessed to have been chosen to raise one of God's perfect children. We love him and thank Heavenly Father everyday that he is part of our family. We have a treasure in heaven.

Quinnlyn

Quinnlyn
Quinnie just turned 6! She is growing faster than we can keep up with! She loves going to first grade and is doing really well! She picks up on things very quickly and LOVES learning. She's seriously a sponge. Her favorite thing to do is write notes and draw pictures for her friends & family. You should see our continual stack of papers. Quinnlyn is creative & spunky & totally independant. We love her like crazy!

Let's play good news, bad news....

THE BAD NEWS:
My computer may be officially out of commission

THE GOOD NEWS:
The computer was given to us a few years ago, so we didn't have to pay for it. And my husband loves me enough to let me use his when he gets home from school (and possibly invest in a new laptop.....do you love me that much Brett?)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THE BAD NEWS:
It's been snowing and we are suppose to have about 5-7 inches by tomorrow afternoon...and it took Brett 2 hours to get home from school today, when it usually takes 25 minutes

THE GOOD NEWS:
We have heat, and I don't have anywhere to be tomorrow and it is really beautiful to look at from inside my house
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THE BAD NEWS:
My teeth, gums, and jaw are sore from getting another cavity filled

THE GOOD NEWS:
I don't have to pay for it and I only have 2 more to get filled. And I have finally learned my lesson about flossing daily
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THE BAD NEWS:
Avery thinks it's okay to come out of her room whenever she wakes up in the morning (no matter what time it is) because she is starting to sleep in a big girl bed

THE GOOD NEWS:
She doesn't get out at night, and she's had no trouble adjusting (the story is: Our nice neighbors gave us a bunk bed complete with mattresses which have been sitting in the garage since October. So Brett thought it would be fun to set them up...much to my dismay. At this point, we let Avery choose which bed she wants to sleep in. Most of the time she chooses her crib. But that is okay with me because I like being able to control when she gets up in the morning. When she sleeps in her big bed, she will open the door, stick her head out, look around, and then close the door. And she does this over and over and over until I finally get up. Ughhh!)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THE BAD NEWS:
I Backed into a car the other day with our highlander

THE GOOD BUT BAD NEWS:
The car I backed into was our mitsubishi...hehe. So now the passenger mirror is 'hangin out'

THE GOOD NEWS:
It's just a scratch....and my car is dirty so I can't really tell how bad it is.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now that was fun wasn't it!!!!!!!! And now for a picture that has nothing to do with this post

Here are the girls blowing out the candles on Kobe's Birthday cake.

Kim you are too funny! What a fun post, though. Very creative! It's a good way to look at the good side of things. :) That's crazy that you are getting that much snow still. I guess it is still winter though, isn't it!

I hope you can get that new laptop!! I love mine!!!

And Avery in a big girl bed??!! Gosh...I can't imagine that with David. They are totally at different level, developmentally! Goes to show that girls are usually more mature... :)

I got a great idea to vacuum my car at the car wash the other day and then changed my mind. On my way out of there, I didn't pay attention and I ran into an orange pole. Woops! Dale scrubbed the paint off but the dent is still there.

So you backed into another car. Not surprising since I've heard you do that you almost do that a lot. Maybe you should look back before backing up!

I want a laptop too! Maybe one day...
Anyways, it's nice to talk to people who have gone through this before, it's so hard on our family (LOts of STRESS). But I guess whatever is suppose to happen, will happen. I just need to be patient... that just doesn't come very easy to me.

Do you still have power? I was just reading about how bad it snowed and about how many people are without power... so I was just wondering if you guys are okay???
