The birthday....
This will be sent to G & G's in a couple of days with thank-you notes
We managed to give Quinnie a fun birthday even though it was weird not sharing it with all of our family. Here is what went on: We took her to breakfast at Mcdonalds (where else would she want to go?) the day before since Brett had school on her actual birthday. On her birthday, we took her to Chucke Cheese where we ate Pizza and played games and just had fun. Later that night we had some people over to have cake and ice cream and open presents. I think she had a fun day, but I guess you would have to ask her that! She got a little spoiled (Thanks to everyone who gave her a gift) and loved getting cards & gifts sent to her in the mail. Here are a few pics of the day (notice the fake, goofy smile in all the pictures....I just can't get her to smile for real):
THE CAKE. I spent some time on this one....it was strawberry (because the cake had to be pink) with marshmallow fondant (which is not yucky like regular fondant). I am excited to know how to do fondant now!
THE PRINCESS DRESS PRESENT
BLOWING OUT THE CANDLES
OH LOOK. SHE'S KIND OF SMILING IN THIS ONE
THE PEOPLE (some of our family away from family.....Quinnlyn & Avery love
all these guys! Thanks for coming people)
THE BIRTHDAY CLOTHES (G&G Jones, you bought the one in the middle and on the right)
THE 'PRESENT WITH POLKA DOTS ON IT' (Thanks G&G Hannig)
Thank you for the gifts, the cards, money, and the phone calls she loved them all! HAPPY BIRTHDAY QUINNIE!

We Hope you had a Fun Birthday. McKenna is going to love to see these pictures.
Great job AS ALWAYS on the beautiful cake. I love the colors!!
Looks like she had a great time. I know she was really excited yesterday telling everyone she was four now! That dress does look just like Haley's, but with the short sleeves, that is pretty cool. You did a great job on the cake! We just recently learned to do fondount as well, you'll have to tell me your recipe!
Are you kidding! Once again, Kim is amazing with her talents! The cake is gorgeous!
Happy Birthday Quinnie!
Wow you have a 4 year old! She is getting so big. The cake looks awesome, too! It looks like she had a good day.
Happy Birthday Quinnie!
Great job on the cake! It looks cute! My sister and I made the marshmallow fondant on my mom's birthday cake and it wasn't too bad! I'll have to try it on my own sometime!
Cute girl! i'm very impressed with the cake--it's darling. I would LOVE to be able to do something like that.
Happy birthday Quinny! She is a doll! That cake was beautiful! You will have to teach me one day!!!...
