Easton

Easton
Easton is the cutest little boy we know! He rightfully earned the nickname 'BEASTY' when he was a baby and it has stuck with him. He is such a sweet little mommy's boy and we are ALL at his Beck and call. Easton loves cars, snacks, and playing outside. He is talking up a storm and it seems like he learns something new every single day. He is at such a fun age. We LOVE LOVE LOVE this little guy!

Ainslee

Ainslee
Ainslee is the baby and she just turned ONE!! This child is a handful!!! She hasn't quite grown out of the difficult phase.....that she has been in since she was born, but we still find ways to find her sweet side! Hearing her baby giggles and watching her discover & learn new things make all the whininess......just a little easier to deal with. Aaaahhh, we love this Ainslee Girl!!

Avery

Avery
Oh our cute little Avery! With her blue eyes & blonde hair, she is one of the cutest 4 year olds around!! This girl is stubborn! She definitely keeps us on our toes. She is quite unpredictable, which makes for a lot of laughs! Avery is our TREAT-FREAK! We can always guess what is on her mind. My favorite thing about Avery is her smiles. She always has one for us no matter what and that makes everyones day just a little better. She attends preschool and says she doesn't like it, but secretly we know she does ;). We are so lucky to have this cute girl in our family! We can't get enough of her.

Kobe Dylan

Kobe Dylan
Kobe is our first child, born in 2004. He was 4 months early and weighed a whopping 1 lb. 4 oz.! We got to be with Kobe for 4 wonderful weeks. I feel so blessed to have been chosen to raise one of God's perfect children. We love him and thank Heavenly Father everyday that he is part of our family. We have a treasure in heaven.

Quinnlyn

Quinnlyn
Quinnie just turned 6! She is growing faster than we can keep up with! She loves going to first grade and is doing really well! She picks up on things very quickly and LOVES learning. She's seriously a sponge. Her favorite thing to do is write notes and draw pictures for her friends & family. You should see our continual stack of papers. Quinnlyn is creative & spunky & totally independant. We love her like crazy!

Our Florida Trip....with lot's of pics...

We had such a great time in Florida this past week! We had a lot of time to just relax and enjoy NOT having any obligations!!!!! Quinnlyn & Avery had a fun time playing with their cousins, and Brett and I enjoyed visiting with his sister and her husband. We don't get to see them too often (even though they are the closest family we have around here), and they were great 'hosts'.

On Monday, we went to the 'RIVERWALK' in downtown Jacksonville. We took a little picnic and just let the kids play and walk around. Basically, they chased the seagulls & pigeons. It was SUCH a nice day with temps in the 80's.....we really should've used the day to go to the beach, but it was suppose to rain (which it never did)....oh well! We still had a great time!

Cute girls in their sunglasses

On Tuesday Brett helped Matt put up some crown moulding, so we just hung out at the house and the park, and let the kids play.

YEA! for summer clothes!!!

Wednesday was about the same, except we went out to lunch and then Bethany (my sis-in-law) and I made the guys take the kids home while we did a little shopping.

Thursday was our beach day. Quinnlyn & Avery LOVED it! It was a little cooler than I would have preferred, and a bit windy, but that didn't stop the girls from playing in the ocean. We stayed for a good 3 hours and some of us came home with a pretty good sunburn.

Friday we just hung out and visited. Later in the evening, we took the kids to a little carnival at an elementary school.

And of course on Saturday we made the drive home. We left at about 10:30 a.m and drove, drove, drove. We got stuck in traffic just outside of Atlanta, GA for at least an hour ( I was super ornery about that one!!!,) and Avery refused to go potty in her diaper, so we had to stop a couple of times for her to use the bathroom. But we still made it home in about 13 hours which is pretty good. The girls weren't quite as good this time. I was constantly having to find things to keep Avery happy, but we made it.

So now we are home. Sad to leave the warm weather, and the good company, but glad to be here...and I am sure that after a whole week, the Amberson's are glad for a 'back-to-normal-routine also! Thank you Matt & Bethany & K & K for letting us come visit. We had a great time and it was well worth the drive!!!!!

Looks like you had a really good time! Hopefully you brought the nice weather back with you! :) 70's today was pretty nice. Thats great that Avery didn't want to go in the diaper... I know, not so much when you don't want to make stops. But still great! Haley will be glad to know you guys are home now. She really missed Quinnlyn. Well, we'll see you at church on Sunday!!!

Fun! Florida sounds sooooo good right now. It's only 40 in Cedar with a breeze that makes me feel like we've moved to the North Pole! Looks like you guys had way too much fun!

Kim!! I haven't updated my blog all year (since the Disneyland post). So I just had my 3rd baby and decided to finally post an update. I noticed that you left me a comment last April! (SORRY!) :) I was excited to check out your blog - your little family is just darling! Cant believe you're clear back east! I will add you to my list as well.

Your trip looks like it was so fun! I want to go on a fun trip! Thanks for your comment, it really does help to know that other people have been "waitlisted" and got in. I know you know... but I'm just so frustrated. Thanks again...
