Easton

Easton
Easton is the cutest little boy we know! He rightfully earned the nickname 'BEASTY' when he was a baby and it has stuck with him. He is such a sweet little mommy's boy and we are ALL at his Beck and call. Easton loves cars, snacks, and playing outside. He is talking up a storm and it seems like he learns something new every single day. He is at such a fun age. We LOVE LOVE LOVE this little guy!

Ainslee

Ainslee
Ainslee is the baby and she just turned ONE!! This child is a handful!!! She hasn't quite grown out of the difficult phase.....that she has been in since she was born, but we still find ways to find her sweet side! Hearing her baby giggles and watching her discover & learn new things make all the whininess......just a little easier to deal with. Aaaahhh, we love this Ainslee Girl!!

Avery

Avery
Oh our cute little Avery! With her blue eyes & blonde hair, she is one of the cutest 4 year olds around!! This girl is stubborn! She definitely keeps us on our toes. She is quite unpredictable, which makes for a lot of laughs! Avery is our TREAT-FREAK! We can always guess what is on her mind. My favorite thing about Avery is her smiles. She always has one for us no matter what and that makes everyones day just a little better. She attends preschool and says she doesn't like it, but secretly we know she does ;). We are so lucky to have this cute girl in our family! We can't get enough of her.

Kobe Dylan

Kobe Dylan
Kobe is our first child, born in 2004. He was 4 months early and weighed a whopping 1 lb. 4 oz.! We got to be with Kobe for 4 wonderful weeks. I feel so blessed to have been chosen to raise one of God's perfect children. We love him and thank Heavenly Father everyday that he is part of our family. We have a treasure in heaven.

Quinnlyn

Quinnlyn
Quinnie just turned 6! She is growing faster than we can keep up with! She loves going to first grade and is doing really well! She picks up on things very quickly and LOVES learning. She's seriously a sponge. Her favorite thing to do is write notes and draw pictures for her friends & family. You should see our continual stack of papers. Quinnlyn is creative & spunky & totally independant. We love her like crazy!

The progress we're making....

Here at the Jones house, a couple of us are learning some new things.

Quinnlyn is reading. Yes, that's right, We started with flashcards a few weeks ago and she is already up to levels 3 & 4 (meaning the flashcard levels) which includes 5 & 6 letter words. I can't believe how quickly she just picked up on it. It's a little weird explaining to her why the vowels make short sounds sometimes, and long sounds other times....but she just accepts it and keeps going. It's pretty cool seeing her accomplish such a big thing. The video above is her reading some random words:

Avery is trying some new things too. First of all, we put away her crib and she is officially in a big girl bed. The past few weeks we would let her choose between the bed & the crib....and most often she chose the crib. But it is no longer!!!! She been doing great, except that she gets up at 8 insted of 9. I am trying to train her to stay in her room quietly until I come to get her. This morning I caught her trying on her shoes....but atleast she was quiet about it!

She woke up before I could take a picture so I told her to pretend to be sleeping.....this is her 'pretending' what a goof...but a cute one!

Such a little girl in such a big bed!!!!

Also, we are getting closer to being potty trained. She has been showing 'signs' of readiness (according to what you read) since we moved out here but has hated sitting on the potty. Well, on monday I just decided to put her in underwear and start the process for REAL. So far she has done quite well. A couple of accidents, but she is going on the potty often. And thankfully, no #2 accidents (knock on wood). I am hoping that within the next few weeks, we will be out of diapers. Wish us luck. Wouldn't it be nice for me to have her potty trained before she turns 2! It sure was with Quinnlyn!

Is this picture too much for a public blog? I made sure nothing was showing????

Ha Ha, that's too cute! I can't believe Quinnie is reading, she is so smart! And that's way nice to have Avery in a big bed...We bought Kade a toddler bed a few weeks ago because he can get out of his crib really well, but we haven't had the chance to set it up yet. In the new house we'll be able to focus on those things better, I hope! Your girls are so dang cute!!!
