The countdown begins.....
My family is coming to visit us in less than 3 weeks (no, not everyone in the pictures will be coming...just my parents & 3 of my little sisters). I'm pretty excited. We are definitely going to have a FULL HOUSE...9 people in a 3 bedroom house is going to be a very tight fit. But it's going to be super fun! To tell you the truth, I am a little surprised that they are actually coming. I wasn't sure I could drag them out here. I'm glad they love me enough to visit (or atleast they love Quinnlyn & Avery. I think that is the real reason they are coming). So they are staying for a week and then my little sister Whitney is going to stay for a month. We plan on doing a lot of fun (inexpensive) things this summer & it will be fun to have her along.
My other news is that my older sister & her family are moving to Indiana. They aren't exactly sure where in Indiana, but most likely it will be about an hour or so away from us. That is good news for me. I have gotten use to being out here without any family, but it will be fun to have someone close enough that we can spend holidays & birthdays with. I am very excited. They should be here sometime in August.

I LOVE that jumping picture!! I just may have to steal that idea. I love it when family comes to visit, and I also believe that it's just to see my kids, but I still love it! Oh, and hey...we have 7 people in our 3 bedroom all the time...they'll just be glad to be there! Remind me to tell you about this wetland preserve that has beavers and is just nice to walk around in....plus it's free!!
are not all 4 younger sisters going?
Thats fun Whitney is staying with you!
it will be so fun to have your sister live close!!
That is so awesome! I bet you are thrilled. I hope my family comes to visit me often (it won't be as hard in California). And your sister moving close, that's so fun!
That is very exciting news Kim! It's always fun to get visiters, especially family. I'm excited for ya. I have that same exact kitchen aid..red and all. I love it!
I love your family pictures! How fun! Just an idea, there is Brown County State Park which is beautiful. There are trails for short hikes (more like walks) and it is beautiful just to drive around in. Have fun with your family here!

You actually believe me?

lucky Girl!!! I love the pictures of all you guys jumping!
Kim, you had commented on my blog about my friend Kari and her baby Bree about doing a professional photoshoot. That was an excellent idea. They had actually had one done 2 months ago (there is a group of professional photographers who do it for free for families with kids who are going through something like this). And a family friend made them some awesome frames.
I am so sorry for the loss of your son. I know it was awhile ago, but I'm sure it must still be hard. You seem like a really neat person.
I also wanted to say that I love this family picture of everyone jumping in the air. My mom had each of her kids do the "Toyota jump" with their spouse on their wedding day for a picture. But I've never seen it with such a huge group. That is so fun!
Anyways, thank you again for sharing, and take care.
