Still cute @ 2!!!!
Avery is two!!!! I know, time has seriously FLOWN by with this little girl. It doesn't seem too long ago that I was pregnant with her. She is such a joy in our family...always making us laugh. She's healthy & smart & beautiful and we are so blessed that she is ours!!!! I can't wait to see what this year brings us....it will for sure be a fun one!!!
For her birthday, we of course did CHUCK-E-CHEESE (we'll never be able to get a way from that place now that we've introduced them to it). Brett had to go to school for half the day, and all morning she was asking if we could go to 'CHUCK-E-CHEESE'. We did the usual....ate pizza, played games, & just enjoyed ourselves. Then we came home and opened presents & had cake & ice cream. She got some dresses, shoes, shirts, a bracelet, a tinkerbell dress-up, an aquadoodle, some 'Littlest Pet Shops', a pillowcase, & cards & money. She had a fun time opening all her gifts & loved getting cards in the mail! It made for a very happy girl. Thank you to everyone who made her day special! We love & appreciate you!
I wasn't too pleased with the cake.....it looked a lot cuter in my head. Oh well. Avery liked it. I made the flowers a few days in advance, and I kept catching her eating them...the little sneak. She loved watching me make her cake. I suppose that is why I spend so much time doing homemade cakes (even though we just eat it soon after). I think they appreciate that it was made just for them.
MMMM....Ice cream
Blowing out the candles. I was afraid she was going to get too close & burn her little lips. She got both of them out in a couple of tries (Quinnlyn had been practicing with her).
The Tinkerbell costume....she hasn't worn it since. But Quinnlyn gets good use out of it.
With some of her gifts.

I don't have much to tell about her, because I just did an 'update' post a few days ago, but there are a few new things.
-She is talking in sentences. It's so different from the one word girl I was use to. It's amazing to see them learn new things!
-She is starting to say 'That's mine!'...which, if she didn't sound so dang cute saying it, would be pretty annoying (I'm sure with time it will get there).
-She named her froggy (that she sleeps with) all by herself (seriously) and it is officially 'GOKEN'. Interesting, no?
-She is a 'flip-flop' girl. The minute she wakes up, she wants those things on.
-She is also obsessed with water bottles. She always has to have one handy.
-She says please & thank-you automatically. This impresses me because we have always had to remind Quinnlyn to say it.
-We took her binky away 3 months ago, but she started sucking her thumb, so we gave the binky back a few weeks ago (still only @ night-time) in hopes that she would quit sucking her thumb. So far it has worked. We will attempt to take it away again and see what happens. DENTIST Brett thinks they are both terrible habits :)

Cute cake. Cute girl. Cute family.
I agree, give her the binkie--you can always take it away; you can't cut off the thumb. We still catch Kennedy occasionally sucking hers and wish she'd stop!
We've never been to Chuck e cheese, but since you guys visited Kennedy asks to go all of the time.
Happy Birthday Avery! She is so cute. I forget she is only 2, she is so smart. you are such a good fun mom!
