Easton

Easton
Easton is the cutest little boy we know! He rightfully earned the nickname 'BEASTY' when he was a baby and it has stuck with him. He is such a sweet little mommy's boy and we are ALL at his Beck and call. Easton loves cars, snacks, and playing outside. He is talking up a storm and it seems like he learns something new every single day. He is at such a fun age. We LOVE LOVE LOVE this little guy!

Ainslee

Ainslee
Ainslee is the baby and she just turned ONE!! This child is a handful!!! She hasn't quite grown out of the difficult phase.....that she has been in since she was born, but we still find ways to find her sweet side! Hearing her baby giggles and watching her discover & learn new things make all the whininess......just a little easier to deal with. Aaaahhh, we love this Ainslee Girl!!

Avery

Avery
Oh our cute little Avery! With her blue eyes & blonde hair, she is one of the cutest 4 year olds around!! This girl is stubborn! She definitely keeps us on our toes. She is quite unpredictable, which makes for a lot of laughs! Avery is our TREAT-FREAK! We can always guess what is on her mind. My favorite thing about Avery is her smiles. She always has one for us no matter what and that makes everyones day just a little better. She attends preschool and says she doesn't like it, but secretly we know she does ;). We are so lucky to have this cute girl in our family! We can't get enough of her.

Kobe Dylan

Kobe Dylan
Kobe is our first child, born in 2004. He was 4 months early and weighed a whopping 1 lb. 4 oz.! We got to be with Kobe for 4 wonderful weeks. I feel so blessed to have been chosen to raise one of God's perfect children. We love him and thank Heavenly Father everyday that he is part of our family. We have a treasure in heaven.

Quinnlyn

Quinnlyn
Quinnie just turned 6! She is growing faster than we can keep up with! She loves going to first grade and is doing really well! She picks up on things very quickly and LOVES learning. She's seriously a sponge. Her favorite thing to do is write notes and draw pictures for her friends & family. You should see our continual stack of papers. Quinnlyn is creative & spunky & totally independant. We love her like crazy!

To our Mom's...

This Mother's day is 1 of at least 4 that we will not be able to spend with our Mom's. That's no fun, because we miss them both so much! But we hope you know (Mom Hannig & Mom Jones), that we are thinking of you today....just like we do everyday! And we certainly wish we could be there spending this special day with each of you!

MY MOM:
What an amazing woman! She has taught me so much and continues to teach me through her example. I took from her the desire to stay home & raise my children. I know I have mentioned this before, but I know that I wouldn't have made the decision to be a stay-at-home mom if I hadn't had one myself. Even when the financial stresses tried to push me out into working, it did little to budge me...because I knew how great it was to have a mom who was around while dad was working. I wouldn't be the same person today if things would have been different! She is a woman of strength and endurance (as she has raised 3 hormonal teenage daughters along with a son, and still has 3 more daughters to go). Mom, thank you for the time that you have invested in me. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE you & hope you know that in my eyes, you are a great success as a mother....MY MOTHER!!!!

BRETT'S MOM:
Now, I have heard that this woman can be strict & stern (after all, she was a school teacher). But I have a hard time believing any of that...because I have only seen a wonderful loving mother in my six years of being part of this family. She is the most giving person I have ever met & I have no doubt that she would give until she had nothing left. I have seen countless acts of service towards us, the rest of the family, & to neighbors & friends. When Brett & I were dating, he use to brag about his mom....and he still thinks she is pretty special...as do we. Teddi, thank you for raising the most wonderful son & for accepting me as a daughter. I love you & appreciate all you do for me & our family.

And to all the other Mother's (or soon to be mother's...) we hope you have a great day!

**Translation for the video clip (since it took us 6 times to get something decent). "HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY. WE LOVE YOU. WISH WE WERE THERE." (Brett thinks they should have said "Wish you were here", but I told him that we would much rather be there with you that have you here with us.....although that would be our second choice!).

I've enjoyed catching up on your blog! I really need to update mine, too, but sometimes I'd just rather sleep when the kids are asleep, ha ha. You are so creative. It looks like you guys are doing great!
