Easton

Easton
Easton is the cutest little boy we know! He rightfully earned the nickname 'BEASTY' when he was a baby and it has stuck with him. He is such a sweet little mommy's boy and we are ALL at his Beck and call. Easton loves cars, snacks, and playing outside. He is talking up a storm and it seems like he learns something new every single day. He is at such a fun age. We LOVE LOVE LOVE this little guy!

Ainslee

Ainslee
Ainslee is the baby and she just turned ONE!! This child is a handful!!! She hasn't quite grown out of the difficult phase.....that she has been in since she was born, but we still find ways to find her sweet side! Hearing her baby giggles and watching her discover & learn new things make all the whininess......just a little easier to deal with. Aaaahhh, we love this Ainslee Girl!!

Avery

Avery
Oh our cute little Avery! With her blue eyes & blonde hair, she is one of the cutest 4 year olds around!! This girl is stubborn! She definitely keeps us on our toes. She is quite unpredictable, which makes for a lot of laughs! Avery is our TREAT-FREAK! We can always guess what is on her mind. My favorite thing about Avery is her smiles. She always has one for us no matter what and that makes everyones day just a little better. She attends preschool and says she doesn't like it, but secretly we know she does ;). We are so lucky to have this cute girl in our family! We can't get enough of her.

Kobe Dylan

Kobe Dylan
Kobe is our first child, born in 2004. He was 4 months early and weighed a whopping 1 lb. 4 oz.! We got to be with Kobe for 4 wonderful weeks. I feel so blessed to have been chosen to raise one of God's perfect children. We love him and thank Heavenly Father everyday that he is part of our family. We have a treasure in heaven.

Quinnlyn

Quinnlyn
Quinnie just turned 6! She is growing faster than we can keep up with! She loves going to first grade and is doing really well! She picks up on things very quickly and LOVES learning. She's seriously a sponge. Her favorite thing to do is write notes and draw pictures for her friends & family. You should see our continual stack of papers. Quinnlyn is creative & spunky & totally independant. We love her like crazy!

Better late than NEVER.....

My Mom is mad because I haven't posted for a while.....and really, I have been meaning to, I just have been a little too lazy. So here goes a late post:

My sister Whitney went home this past Monday. She had been here for the past month. We did a few fun things.

We drove down to HOLIDAY WORLD & SPLASHIN' SAFARI (a theme & water park). It only took us 3 hours....each way.....& we drove there & home in the same day. Luckily we had a fun time at the park which lessened my 'ornery-ness' from the long drive. Why did we drive so far when there are closer theme parks? Well, Brett won tickets off the radio so we didn't have to pay for the tickets. And they offered free sunscreen & free unlimited soft drinks....which was so nice! We mostly stayed in the water park & just so you know....Whitney & I went on the TALLEST WATER RIDE in the WORLD! But, it lasted about 5 seconds. Anyway, we had fun.

We also hung out a bit downtown. After all, you can't visit INDY without seeing the monument (even though it is nothing special). We also went to the children's museum. Not really the funnest place for adults, but Quinnie & Avery had a fun time.

We decided to join the library's summer reading program too....so we could all get a coupon for free CHICK-FILL-A (or however you spell it) kids meal. We read the girls a lot of quick books so we could get enough points in 2 weeks.

While Whitney was here, my girls slept in the same room on the bunk beds so Whitney could have her own room. If any of you know Quinnlyn, you KNOW that she does NOT go to sleep easily, & if there is anyone in the same room with her, she will talk their ear off all night long. SO, I ended up having to put Quinnlyn to bed in my room & then move her once Avery was asleep. It worked out nicely, except we felt bad about waking her up every night to switch beds :) There are now sleeping in separate rooms, & we don't plan on changing that anytime soon.

We were going to drive up north and go camping along LAKE MICHIGAN, but the weather didn't look promising so we decided to ditch the idea. It's too bad though, because we hear the lake is just like a beach, with nice sand & waves. We will definitely take a camping trip up there one of these days (before our 3 more years is over).

For the 4th of July, we kind of got rained out. Luckily, we got together on the 3rd with a bunch of friends from our ward & had a BBQ & a fireworks show. Quinnlyn & Avery were more interested in catching fireflies than watching the fireworks....but who can blame them? Fireflies are pretty SWEET and they are so easy to catch.

Whitney and I decided to have a SISTERS night before she went home. I'd call it a girls night, but Quinnlyn & Avery weren't allowed....much to Brett's dismay. We went to Panera Bread (because we like it) & then to a movie. Dinner was delicious (as always) and the movie was way funny.

And that is pretty much Whitney's stay. She got a little bored the last week she was here. Actually, we all got a little bored that week. But, I am really glad she wanted to stay with us. We loved having her here & the girls got really use to having her around. When she left Quinnlyn said: "But I'm going to miss her.....are you mom?" YES!!!! Of course I am going to miss her. I hope she'll visit us again next year.

How fun to have your sister there for so long. I would probably have a complete melt down when she left. But I've just learned that about my self recently, haha. Looks like you guys had fun.
