Easton is the cutest little boy we know! He rightfully earned the nickname 'BEASTY' when he was a baby and it has stuck with him. He is such a sweet little mommy's boy and we are ALL at his Beck and call. Easton loves cars, snacks, and playing outside. He is talking up a storm and it seems like he learns something new every single day. He is at such a fun age. We LOVE LOVE LOVE this little guy!

Ainslee is the baby and she just turned ONE!! This child is a handful!!! She hasn't quite grown out of the difficult phase.....that she has been in since she was born, but we still find ways to find her sweet side! Hearing her baby giggles and watching her discover & learn new things make all the whininess......just a little easier to deal with. Aaaahhh, we love this Ainslee Girl!!

Oh our cute little Avery! With her blue eyes & blonde hair, she is one of the cutest 4 year olds around!! This girl is stubborn! She definitely keeps us on our toes. She is quite unpredictable, which makes for a lot of laughs! Avery is our TREAT-FREAK! We can always guess what is on her mind. My favorite thing about Avery is her smiles. She always has one for us no matter what and that makes everyones day just a little better. She attends preschool and says she doesn't like it, but secretly we know she does ;). We are so lucky to have this cute girl in our family! We can't get enough of her.

Kobe Dylan
Kobe is our first child, born in 2004. He was 4 months early and weighed a whopping 1 lb. 4 oz.! We got to be with Kobe for 4 wonderful weeks. I feel so blessed to have been chosen to raise one of God's perfect children. We love him and thank Heavenly Father everyday that he is part of our family. We have a treasure in heaven.

Quinnie just turned 6! She is growing faster than we can keep up with! She loves going to first grade and is doing really well! She picks up on things very quickly and LOVES learning. She's seriously a sponge. Her favorite thing to do is write notes and draw pictures for her friends & family. You should see our continual stack of papers. Quinnlyn is creative & spunky & totally independant. We love her like crazy!

A little Unfortunate Event......

Yesterday on our way to church, we were rear ended by a drunk driver. We saw him swerving & driving like the crazy man he was & knew he was totally wasted. He was behind us & I told Brett just to pull over & let him pass, but it was too late. The guy sped up & just rammed into the back of our car. Nobody was hurt. The girls didn't really know what was going on, & I was a little bit shocked but that's all. We called the police & they came and did a full accident report and took the other guy to jail. He was 2-3 times over the legal 8:45 in the morning. Why are people so stupid?
As for our car, it is fine. Just some ugly little scratches & the bumper is cracked. I filed our claim today & the car is getting repaired. The bad news is that we aren't sure if the other driver has insurance....luckily we have full coverage, but I don't want to pay that deductible. Anyway, this could all go down smoothly, or it could be a big pain in the rear. Since the guy got arrested, there is a chance Brett would have to testify in court (although the cop says they usually try to keep the other party out of it) and blah blah blah.
We feel so blessed that everyone is okay & that we are insured. It's always been hard for me to pay for auto insurance because in 6 years, we've never had to use it. But now I am glad we have it. Also, we have a cute rental to drive around for the next few days :).

That's scary! I am glad you guys are alright. You're right some people are sooo stupid! I think they are a lot harder on drunk drivers here then they are in Utah, at least that is what I heard so I guess we'll see. See ya on Saturday.

That just makes me so mad that people are so selfish to put others at risk like that! I'm glad you and your sweet little girls are ok. And I hope that stupid guy has to pay for everything!

Wow! That really stinks! Glad to hear nothing major happened and everyone is alright. Andrew was just asking me yesterday if you guys got a new car. He saw Brett at the light. Now we know why he was in a different car. :) Hope everything gets fixed quickly for you. Let us know if you need anything!

glad you guys are ok. sometimes it is cheaper just to pay for the repair yourself rather than paying the deductible plus i think your premium goes up for 3 years or something. i would look into it before you decide. yes people are so stupid!
