Easton is the cutest little boy we know! He rightfully earned the nickname 'BEASTY' when he was a baby and it has stuck with him. He is such a sweet little mommy's boy and we are ALL at his Beck and call. Easton loves cars, snacks, and playing outside. He is talking up a storm and it seems like he learns something new every single day. He is at such a fun age. We LOVE LOVE LOVE this little guy!

Ainslee is the baby and she just turned ONE!! This child is a handful!!! She hasn't quite grown out of the difficult phase.....that she has been in since she was born, but we still find ways to find her sweet side! Hearing her baby giggles and watching her discover & learn new things make all the whininess......just a little easier to deal with. Aaaahhh, we love this Ainslee Girl!!

Oh our cute little Avery! With her blue eyes & blonde hair, she is one of the cutest 4 year olds around!! This girl is stubborn! She definitely keeps us on our toes. She is quite unpredictable, which makes for a lot of laughs! Avery is our TREAT-FREAK! We can always guess what is on her mind. My favorite thing about Avery is her smiles. She always has one for us no matter what and that makes everyones day just a little better. She attends preschool and says she doesn't like it, but secretly we know she does ;). We are so lucky to have this cute girl in our family! We can't get enough of her.

Kobe Dylan

Kobe Dylan
Kobe is our first child, born in 2004. He was 4 months early and weighed a whopping 1 lb. 4 oz.! We got to be with Kobe for 4 wonderful weeks. I feel so blessed to have been chosen to raise one of God's perfect children. We love him and thank Heavenly Father everyday that he is part of our family. We have a treasure in heaven.

Quinnie just turned 6! She is growing faster than we can keep up with! She loves going to first grade and is doing really well! She picks up on things very quickly and LOVES learning. She's seriously a sponge. Her favorite thing to do is write notes and draw pictures for her friends & family. You should see our continual stack of papers. Quinnlyn is creative & spunky & totally independant. We love her like crazy!

Keepin' up with Us.....

I haven't done an official update for a while, so I thought it was time.

In general, things are going well. The weather here wasn't TOO terrible, and then Thanksgiving came around. It all of the sudden turned really cold & we've been having some rain. We haven't had any snow, but the news keeps forecasting it. We'll see. The first snow of the season is always fun.

He's just pluggin' away at school. His classes end this week, and then he will have a test & a final next week. I'm still waiting for it to get harder. I think this next semester will be the moment of truth. He will likely stay later & just be busier. Not fun, but I will try to stick it out for 5 months. One day this semester he had to stay until 7:00 pm & I was really feeling bad for myself. I'm not sure how I will handle a later night than that ;). He's doing well & enjoying it. I'm really proud of him. During the Christmas break he will begin studying for the first part of his Boards which he will take sometime in January. Not the ideal way to spend a break, but it will be good for him to get it over with.

I'm pluggin' away too. I'm trying to contain my children, keep the house in order, & keep a baby in my belly. I've only been succesful at one of those....but I'll give myself a 'B' for effort. Brett gave me my first shot of Progesterone (AKA 17p Alphahydroxy Progesterone Caproate) last Sunday. It was scary & it took about 5 minutes for me to give him the okay to 'Stick Me'. But he was patient. A shot in the bum is not very fun. The medicine is in oil too....which is much thicker than most other shots, and that doesn't help. But I got through it & I didn't even feel sore. Then came SHOT #2. I'm pretty sure he hit a nerve with that one. OUCH!!! I'm officially freaked out to get anymore, but I will try not to cry about it....too much. I'm 20 weeks, so that means I only have 14 more shots to go.

This girl is getting sassier by the day. I'm still hoping it's a phase, but if it is, it's a very LONG phase. But, she has her good moments too. The other day when I put myself on bedrest & was stressed to the MAX, she was very sweet & did what she could to take care of me. So I know she has it in her to be nice. I am partly to blame though....I'll admit it. I expect a lot from her, & that's not fair since she is only 4. I'm trying to tone it down a bit.
She gave her first talk in primary & was SOOOOO excited. She kept reminding me the week before and I kept telling her 'I know' & come Saturday night @ 10:00 pm, I had completley forgotten about it. So I spent the next 2 hours printing & coloring pictures. She did such a great job, and memorized part of it & still has it memorized today.
She still loves to color & draw and that is what she does most days. Lately she has been asking us to draw different animals for we do....and then she will look at the picture & draw the same animal by herself....and she seriously does a good job!!! We are often surprised by the detail she puts into it. And along with her pictures, she spells what she drew. Often times it's not the correct spelling, but she does a good job at spelling it how it sounds (what more can you expect). I really should be working with her more at the 'reading/spelling' thing, but I have been a slacker.
Quinnie is starting to be aware of the way she looks and the clothes she wears. She HATES wearing pants & is always begging to wear skirts and dresses. She also has these boots (which she calls her Hannah Montana boots) that she wants to wear everyday, all day. If I don't do her hair correct, she tells me she looks 'goofy'. What a funny girl.

She pretty much does what Quinnie tells her to do. They play well about 50% of the time & fight the other 50%. She loves to color & draw as well. But gets so mad when I refuse to let her use markers & pens.
She and Quinnie are very much alike in a lot of ways. I guess that's how it goes when you spend all your time with your sister. She is also desperate to wear skirts & dresses, but instead of boots, she wants to wear sandals. It's sandals ALL day. And it would be all night if I allowed it. I will go into her room at night & find her asleep with her sandals/flip-flops on (on the floor of course, because my girls won't sleep in their beds). Then, I will go get her up in the morning, & she will have her sandals back on (because she wakes up before me & just hangs out in her room). She has several pairs of shoes, but I have to force her to wear something other than her sandals.
She is still desperate for treats & snacks. She BEGS for them, & throws a fit when we say no. She spends a lot of time in the kitchen trying to find something to eat. A lot of times she will sneak something up to her room & eat it hoping that we don't find out. It's pretty obvious when she doesn't answer when we call her name, or she comes back downstairs with chocolate all over her face.
Avery has a sweet cuddly side too. Atleast once a day she will say "I like you Mommy (or Daddy)....I wanna keep you". It's very cute.

I guess that is all for now. Some of you have asked if we are coming to Utah for X-mas. That is a negative. I was going to come out with the girls a couple weeks before Christmas, but remembered that it's kind of a crucial time in the pregnancy (22 & 23 weeks). Probably not wise to go on vacation. So we are here for the holidays...Sad but true I know.

Sorry for the lack of pictures. I will do another post soon and it will have some.

Your little belly is cute! I love reading all the details on your girls. My favorite is how Avery likes her treats. I was impressed when we were visiting how she agreed to a orange for her treat. lol. Whatever works!

I'm sorry your shots hurt. I haven't had to do the shots but i know other people doing in vitro have to so im glad i haven't had to so far :) that is too bad you can't come for christmas but i don't blame your reason. it is very crucial you stay pregnant!
