So I wrote myself off too quickly.
I actually lost 5 pounds in 6
days of Detoxing!!!
How much of that will stay off? I guess we will see. The point is….it worked.
As far as feeling great….I don’t feel any different (besides feeling great about losing a few pounds). I was really hoping for more energy….that was my main goal, but it didn’t happen.
Do I recommend this detox? DEFINITELY. It was difficult at times, but only because I am a total snacker and I am addicted to sugar. Plus it gets old eating raw Veggies & fruits day after day, but I could eat as much as I wanted so I was never hungry. Cravings were hard….that’s the way it is.
In fact, I may do it again in the next few months. This time I will exercise and drink water (like I was suppose to).
Still feel like it’s a fluke? My friend lost 7 pounds in 6 days….so it worked for her too.

Now I totally want to do it. Too bad I'm still nursing.
Jenalee, you can still do something like this so long as you get enough calories.
Kim, how many calories do you think you ate a day? I'm just curious, because if I was on a raw diet (or on an elimination diet, which I am) I get board of eating the same thing everyday and so I don't eat and wouldn't cha know it. I've lost weight. By brother tells me everyone will lose weight if they don't eat. ;)
I've plateaued though. I'm going to have to exercise or stop skipping meals if I'm going to jump start my metabolism to lose the few extra pounds I'd like to.
Gwen-
I ate 3 meals a day until I was full (sometimes too full). I was never hungry, just had cravings for YUMMY food. And I didn't eat the same thing everyday. I mixed it up. I even had dessert (it was still raw). I probably didn't eat a 2000 calorie diet, but I was definitely eating.
Good Job!!!!
I want to do it too. I don't know if I have it in me.
Okay, good for you! Don't think I have it in me though . . . I could stand to lose a few lbs
