Virginia Beach: Love the Moment (SocialMoms)

School is almost out and with that comes family vacations!! There are a lot of places on my list that I hope to visit someday, and one of those places is Virginia Beach! I have read so many great things about Virginia Beach and all it has to offer. It’s definitely somewhere I could see us having a fantastic family vacation.

Why Virginia Beach???

Let’s start with the weather!! It’s mild and beautiful and you aren’t going to be miserable in sweltering heat. There are few things worse than trying to enjoy time with the family when everyone is complaining that they are HOT!!! It’s nice enough that you can walk around and see all the sites that Virginia Beach has to offer, but warm enough to enjoy the ocean. Yes, the weather is definitely one of the perks of vacationing at Virginia Beach.

Speaking of Ocean, isn’t that the favorite activity of children everywhere?? It’s low cost (no cost really) and HIGH fun. My family could spend several vacation days just playing in the sand & water and soaking up the sun. At Virginia Beach, you have an ocean playground with the biggest sandbox ever!

Are you a foodie (who doesn’t love to enjoy great food while on vacation)? Well Virginia Beach will give you all the culinary satisfaction that you won’t be able to find anywhere else! Check out the coastal food tours of Virginia that combines farm and ocean, and food and spirits, while promising the chance to become part of the process of creating delicious coastal cuisine. I’m pretty sure that would be the ultimate satisfaction for me!!! Food is my favorite.

And don’t forget Beach Street USA which will give you a chance to enjoy festivals & events unique to Virginia Beach. It’s all the entertainment you need at the oceanfront. Make a day out of it….or just enjoy an evening. Either way you will love all it has to offer.
