Easton

Easton
Easton is the cutest little boy we know! He rightfully earned the nickname 'BEASTY' when he was a baby and it has stuck with him. He is such a sweet little mommy's boy and we are ALL at his Beck and call. Easton loves cars, snacks, and playing outside. He is talking up a storm and it seems like he learns something new every single day. He is at such a fun age. We LOVE LOVE LOVE this little guy!

Ainslee

Ainslee
Ainslee is the baby and she just turned ONE!! This child is a handful!!! She hasn't quite grown out of the difficult phase.....that she has been in since she was born, but we still find ways to find her sweet side! Hearing her baby giggles and watching her discover & learn new things make all the whininess......just a little easier to deal with. Aaaahhh, we love this Ainslee Girl!!

Avery

Avery
Oh our cute little Avery! With her blue eyes & blonde hair, she is one of the cutest 4 year olds around!! This girl is stubborn! She definitely keeps us on our toes. She is quite unpredictable, which makes for a lot of laughs! Avery is our TREAT-FREAK! We can always guess what is on her mind. My favorite thing about Avery is her smiles. She always has one for us no matter what and that makes everyones day just a little better. She attends preschool and says she doesn't like it, but secretly we know she does ;). We are so lucky to have this cute girl in our family! We can't get enough of her.

Kobe Dylan

Kobe Dylan
Kobe is our first child, born in 2004. He was 4 months early and weighed a whopping 1 lb. 4 oz.! We got to be with Kobe for 4 wonderful weeks. I feel so blessed to have been chosen to raise one of God's perfect children. We love him and thank Heavenly Father everyday that he is part of our family. We have a treasure in heaven.

Quinnlyn
Quinnie just turned 6! She is growing faster than we can keep up with! She loves going to first grade and is doing really well! She picks up on things very quickly and LOVES learning. She's seriously a sponge. Her favorite thing to do is write notes and draw pictures for her friends & family. You should see our continual stack of papers. Quinnlyn is creative & spunky & totally independant. We love her like crazy!

4 months....from Ainslee

I am 4 months!! Here is what I am up to:

Let's just begin with the nitty gritty shall we?.....
I SLEEP
I nap 3 times a day, but they only last 45 minutes (at the most)
I cry when I get put to bed. OK, I scream. After about 5 or 10 minutes, mom or dad will come in and wiggle my crib a little and I quiet down quickly.
My nights typically go like this: Bedtime @ 7:30, wake up @ 2-ish, wake up at 7:30ish a.m. Sometimes I will wake up around 11 pm too. And sometimes 4 or 5 am. Pretty much I am unpredictable. Mom is tired.

I EAT
I nurse every 2 hours. Yes, every 2. Problem is....I have issues when the milk comes too fast and then I just get pissed  upset so I refuse to eat anymore. So then I am hungry again after only a few hours.
Because I refuse to nurse so often, Mom is nice enough to pump and then feed me a bottle.
I bite too.

I CRY
Oh do I cry!
In fact, my crying gets worse as the days go by.
I cry because I am hungry. I cry because I am wet. I cry because I don't want to go to sleep. I cry because I do want to go to sleep, but just don't realize it. I cry when I am bored. I cry when I want my mom to hold me all day long so she can't get anything else done. I cry to welcome my dad home from work. I cry when someone has the audacity to put me on the ground...or in the bouncer....or in the swing....or in the bumbo....or in the car seat.....or in the stroller. I cry when mom is holding me but she isn't bouncing me. Or when she isn't pacing the floor correctly.
Yep. I am a good crier.

I SMILE
My smiles are crucial around here. I'm not sure mom would keep me around if I didn't do it once in a while. I smile the most in the morning. But mom can usually get a good smile out of me just by giving me some baby talk. Easton is pretty smile-worthy too.
When mom tickles my cheeks, I smile. Also when I get my diaper change I smile. Sometimes dad pretends he is going to change it just so I stop fussing and smile instead. It usually works.
I laugh. I am ticklish and will give a deep chuckle to anyone who tickles me.
I have a sweet little dimple on my lower right cheek

I GROW
Went to the doc a few days ago. I am getting bigger.
I gained a few pounds and now I weigh 13 lbs. 15 oz. I also grew a few inches too        . It's interesting that mom gets so happy when I gain weight, but isn't as thrilled when she does :).

I LEARN
I can hold my head up while I am on my belly....although it's still a heavy little noggin, so it wobbles a bit. I also rolled over this past week both ways! Should've heard my mom get so excited! She didn't think I would ever get there since I RARELY spend time on the floor. I hate tummy time. And back time.
My legs are super strong and I like when mom helps me stand.
I am figuring out how to use my hands. I've been trying to grab toys to put them in my mouth and I am getting pretty good.

I DO OTHER STUFF TOO
I hate laying back. Don't cradle me because I will get mad.
I have stranger anxiety already.
I love sucking my fists. Mom wishes I would just figure out how to suck my thumb....or atleast take a binky (I hate those things).
I have a very big gag reflux.
My hair is still there and isn't showing any signs of falling out. It also has a redish hue to it when I am in the sun. Mom isn't sure I will be a blondie like the rest of the kids.
I have a birth mark on my foot between my last 2 toes.
Mom thinks I am teething.

I AM ORNERY AS CAN BE, BUT CUTE AS CAN BE!!!
I AM 4 MONTHS OLD!!
