Yes....I do have other children. So here is an update on Easton:
He
has definitely gotten a bit more sassy & defiant....just like
his sisters! He tells us no often, deliberately does things after we
have told him not to, and is just becoming a little independent bugger!
However,
he is still lots of fun! We could sit and watch him all day long...just
being his silly self. We love getting him up in the morning because he
is always just sitting on his bed waiting for us to tell him that he can
get up. The minute we open his door, he says: "HI MOM! (or HI DAD!). He
loves his dad and is always excited to see him when he gets home.
Sometimes I wish I was gone all day just so I could get the 'welcome
home' that Brett always gets :)!
Easton is day potty
trained including nap time, and only wears a diaper (a cloth diaper
actually.....because I didn't want to buy anymore disposables for him)
at night. Sometimes he wakes up dry, but not often enough to let him
wear undies to bed. He looks so cute with his little bum in those undies
:). Potty training wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be thank
goodness!
This kid never quits talking. Just ask
anybody that has been around him. We get comments on his sweet little
voice, and it's true, it is really sweet....but not when you have to
listen to ALL DAY LONG!! He talks so loud too. We are constantly asking
him to 'talk quietly' but he just needs to be heard I guess. During car
drives he wants to know the name of every single store that he sees:
"What's that store mom?" And boy oh boy, if we don't know what store he
is talking about, he says 'NO WHAT'S THAT STORE!!!' He knows if we are
truly listening or trying to tune him out.
Speaking of
stores...he remembers the names of all the stores we go to and remembers
exactly where they are. Costco, Walmart, CVS, HyVee, Mcdonald's (of
course), Wendy's, Menard's, Hobby Lobby, Best Buy, etc. He's always
quick to tell us exactly where we are going once he recognizes his
surroundings.
Easton knows several letters of the
alphabet and the sounds that they make. He says: LOOK! An 'M' for mom.
He does the same for 'D' for dad, 'E' for Easton, 'A' for Ainslee, and
'O' for Octopus.
He LOVES his Ainslee and is really
sweet to her. Often times he will quit playing long enough to rub her
feet and baby talk her for just a second or two. Then he is back to
playing. He really wants to pick her up by himself, but is good enough
to wait for someone to help him. He can often get her to quit crying if
he baby talks her and he is always willing to get me her diapers or
anything else I need. He likes to 'pet' her (that is what he calls it)
and always rubs her little head. Yes. He is a great big brother.
On
the other hand, he is kind of a bratty little brother. He throws a fit
and the girls always get into trouble when they make him cry. He is
spoiled. So spoiled.
Easton is a pretty good eater and will eat fruit & veggies really well! He is a snacker too. Just like his sisters.
This
kid loves to sing songs that come on the radio and he know a lot of
them. If anyone else tries to sing we get yelled at: "DON'T SING, DON'T
SING!". Like he thinks he is the boss or something.
Most of the time we call him Buddy. The girls were singing a song (Easton, Easton Bo Beaston) and he was quick to tell them that his name was NOT Easton.....'It's BUDDY'!
He gets scared easily. He doesn't like the dark and if we play monsters, he loves it but hates it. It's easy to freak him out and quite funny too.

He is seriously so cute. I think a lot like Jake too, bossy, ignores me, teases his sisters, good to Max (likes to sneak food to him) but doesn't talk all the time.
I love that he likes to sing by himself.
This is really a superb thing to share. keep it up dear, i will revisit your blog
