Easton

Easton
Easton is the cutest little boy we know! He rightfully earned the nickname 'BEASTY' when he was a baby and it has stuck with him. He is such a sweet little mommy's boy and we are ALL at his Beck and call. Easton loves cars, snacks, and playing outside. He is talking up a storm and it seems like he learns something new every single day. He is at such a fun age. We LOVE LOVE LOVE this little guy!

Ainslee

Ainslee
Ainslee is the baby and she just turned ONE!! This child is a handful!!! She hasn't quite grown out of the difficult phase.....that she has been in since she was born, but we still find ways to find her sweet side! Hearing her baby giggles and watching her discover & learn new things make all the whininess......just a little easier to deal with. Aaaahhh, we love this Ainslee Girl!!

Avery

Avery
Oh our cute little Avery! With her blue eyes & blonde hair, she is one of the cutest 4 year olds around!! This girl is stubborn! She definitely keeps us on our toes. She is quite unpredictable, which makes for a lot of laughs! Avery is our TREAT-FREAK! We can always guess what is on her mind. My favorite thing about Avery is her smiles. She always has one for us no matter what and that makes everyones day just a little better. She attends preschool and says she doesn't like it, but secretly we know she does ;). We are so lucky to have this cute girl in our family! We can't get enough of her.

Kobe Dylan

Kobe Dylan
Kobe is our first child, born in 2004. He was 4 months early and weighed a whopping 1 lb. 4 oz.! We got to be with Kobe for 4 wonderful weeks. I feel so blessed to have been chosen to raise one of God's perfect children. We love him and thank Heavenly Father everyday that he is part of our family. We have a treasure in heaven.

Quinnlyn

Quinnlyn
Quinnie just turned 6! She is growing faster than we can keep up with! She loves going to first grade and is doing really well! She picks up on things very quickly and LOVES learning. She's seriously a sponge. Her favorite thing to do is write notes and draw pictures for her friends & family. You should see our continual stack of papers. Quinnlyn is creative & spunky & totally independant. We love her like crazy!

MOM.....I'M DONE!!!!!!!!

Okay, When we potty trained Quinnlyn, of course she was too young to wipe her own bum....and even later on I just didn't want to deal with her not wiping well enough so I continued to do it for her. A few months ago Brett & I decided it was time for her to wipe herself (long overdue). Well, she has been FIGHTING IT ever since. She will seriously just sit on the toilet and cry until we come and wipe her. Here is the struggle that we had today:

"MOM...I'M DONE!!!!"

"So wipe"

"No I can't"

"Yes you can....I'm not going to do it for you anymore"

"Yes you need to"

"Nope you're a big girl and you can wipe yourself"

(of course she's crying by now)

"I'm not a big girl I'm a princess and princesses don't wipe their bums"

"Yes they do"

"Well I'm a puppy"

"Puppies wipe their bums too"

"Then I am a grasshopper"

"They wipe their bums too"

"No they don't, they can't"

"Well their mommies don't wipe their bums either, so what now?"

After about thirty minutes of us arguing (and her sitting on the toilet), I finally went in to watch her wipe....it makes her feel better when we watch her. How did this become our biggest struggle? She potty-trained in a day, gave up the binkie in a day, switched to a big girl bed with no problem, and here we are arguing with her to WIPE HER OWN BUM!!!!Is it really that difficult?

What a funny girl! Kenna did the same type of thing when we told her she had to start wiping her own bum. She just didn't argue all those things. Just what she was too little! lol!

That's so funny! I'm sure to you it isn't, but what a smart girl she is! She should be on a debate team! At least she wants to be wiped... Aaralyn will poop and I won't know it, and she'll just run around without her clothes on or else put her clothes back on and get poop in her underwear! I wish she would tell me when she went!

At least you still don't have to CHANGE her diapers!!!!!!! I have 2kids in diapers... so I would trade you for just having to wipe him on the toilet. But... it's still a pain I'm sure...

Kennedy will usually wipe herself, but I am like you and want to wipe to make sure she's clean . . .I guess I better let her do it herself so I'm not having to do it in a few months.
