Quinnlyn is off to school (well, she is home now). She goes to AM kindergarten and had a GREAT time!! We dropped her off this morning (no buses for this mom) and waited by the front office until her teacher, Mrs. Freeman, came to get all the kids. No crying from either of us. Maybe if she were going to full day I would have gotten a little teary-eyed. But to be honest, two hours and forty-five minutes is only sad because it isn't long enough!!!!
I asked her what she did and she said "The only thing I can remember is I went to the bathroom". Later she told me she colored a bear & her teacher read a book to them. She also told me she needed a boyfriend. I was a bit shocked to hear that, but I don't think she meant it like the way I took it.
She has been waiting to go to school for over a year and it's finally here!!!!!
I signed up to be her room parent (thought about going back to cross my name off) and I am excited to see her in the classroom. This should be a fun year for both of us ;)

reading that made my heart drop a little. I thought I was ok with Abs going to kindergarten {she starts next week} but seeing Quinny off with her backpack makes me sad...I hope I'm not the weepy pregnant mom dropping off Abbey next week!! Wish me luck :)

Exciting. I wish our Kindergarten was only half day. Here Kindergarten is all day everyday. Kaylee won't go until next year so we put her in preschool to help with the transition. Quinny sure is a beautiful girl.
