We've done a few things since my last post.
First, we decorated the Christmas Tree. The idea of doing it always SOUNDS fun, but in all reality, it's not that much fun at all (I must be a party pooper!). I guess it's putting on the lights that is the worst part. Luckily, Brett helped out this year. Usually he isn't too into it. The girls had a great time & they love turning on the lights every night. (I didn't get any great pictures unless you just want to see the tree by itself....which is boring since it's the same as last years....and the year before that...)
This past Saturday, I took the girls to Disney on Ice. Most of the dental school wives went & we had a great time! We got cheap tickets (of course), so we were super high up, but we were able to see it okay. I let Quinnie & Avery dress up in their princess dresses. Quinnlyn loved it, except she was pretty frustrated that she couldn't see the ice skaters faces. She kept looking through her binoculars (which are not very good ones at all) trying so hard to get a good look. She was also pretty sad when the show ended. Avery watched it really well for the first half, but by the time it was over, she was completely done with it. It was a fun experience for us all. Avery is totally freaked out in the picture. In fact, she was a little scared the whole time. We were so far up & it was so steep, that she felt like she was going to fall. Most of the time she sat on my lap with a tight grip on my legs. It was pretty funny.
Lastly, we had our first snow of the season. Just enough to dust the ground for half a day, & that is just the way I like it. Brett has been home the past few days, so he took the girls out to play for a bit & they even made a tiny snowman. It's been pretty cold here & I expect more snow by the end of this week (maybe tomorrow).
That's all....just a short little post compared to what I usually do.

We got snow too. Thankfully it melted quickly (reminds you of St. George doesn't it). I was getting scared that I would have to drive the kids to school on slippery roads. That could be a disaster!
I would love to take McKenna to Disney on Ice. Your guys are lucky! This years snow storms have come very late for us too...but I am not complaining!
Ha ha I hate decorating the tree too! Glad to hear I'm not the only one. Your girls are so darling and you are such a cute mom. Good luck with the new little guy - how fun!
