Easton

Easton
Easton is the cutest little boy we know! He rightfully earned the nickname 'BEASTY' when he was a baby and it has stuck with him. He is such a sweet little mommy's boy and we are ALL at his Beck and call. Easton loves cars, snacks, and playing outside. He is talking up a storm and it seems like he learns something new every single day. He is at such a fun age. We LOVE LOVE LOVE this little guy!

Ainslee

Ainslee
Ainslee is the baby and she just turned ONE!! This child is a handful!!! She hasn't quite grown out of the difficult phase.....that she has been in since she was born, but we still find ways to find her sweet side! Hearing her baby giggles and watching her discover & learn new things make all the whininess......just a little easier to deal with. Aaaahhh, we love this Ainslee Girl!!

Avery

Avery
Oh our cute little Avery! With her blue eyes & blonde hair, she is one of the cutest 4 year olds around!! This girl is stubborn! She definitely keeps us on our toes. She is quite unpredictable, which makes for a lot of laughs! Avery is our TREAT-FREAK! We can always guess what is on her mind. My favorite thing about Avery is her smiles. She always has one for us no matter what and that makes everyones day just a little better. She attends preschool and says she doesn't like it, but secretly we know she does ;). We are so lucky to have this cute girl in our family! We can't get enough of her.

Kobe Dylan

Kobe Dylan
Kobe is our first child, born in 2004. He was 4 months early and weighed a whopping 1 lb. 4 oz.! We got to be with Kobe for 4 wonderful weeks. I feel so blessed to have been chosen to raise one of God's perfect children. We love him and thank Heavenly Father everyday that he is part of our family. We have a treasure in heaven.

Quinnlyn

Quinnlyn
Quinnie just turned 6! She is growing faster than we can keep up with! She loves going to first grade and is doing really well! She picks up on things very quickly and LOVES learning. She's seriously a sponge. Her favorite thing to do is write notes and draw pictures for her friends & family. You should see our continual stack of papers. Quinnlyn is creative & spunky & totally independant. We love her like crazy!

For Baby......(poor thing still has no name)

Well, I had big plans to make some things for this baby....on the top of my list was a crib bumper...and a car seat cover. But then came the bedrest. So unfortunately I didn't get around to those big projects (and BIG they would have been...BIG & DIFFICULT). I suppose it's ok though. I tend to be a 'starter-seamstress'---I like to start, but hate to finish (I have several unfinished projects waiting for me) and once I do sit down to finish, I usually get pretty lazy & don't do a great job. But I did get a few things made after I hit 34 weeks. Here are some things I have been working on.

I Mod-podged a frame.

The only thing I made for the crib was a crib skirt.

I had some leftover material, so I made this little 'Tag Blanket'

A Diaper/Wipe case and a Pacifier case.

The hooded towel since both the girls got one when they were born (Modeled by the messy-faced....but still kind of cute Avery ;) )

The nursing cover (cuter than anything I could have bought and it still only cost about $12)....I am loving the print, but I hope it doesn't shout "HEY LOOK AT ME I AM UN-CLOTHED UNDER HERE!"....but oh well if it does.

The blanket. It's tradition that I make my kids one of these I guess. Quinnie named hers 'FUZZY BLANKET' and Avery has deemed her "RUBBY (or WUBBY since she can't say her R's). I wonder what this baby will name his?????

A car seat blanket cover. Not really needed, but it was simple enough.

I probably should get some burp cloths made....but I am secretly hoping he is not a spitter like Avery was (you have never had a baby who throws up more than she did!!!).

It was difficult to find material that was really cute & boy worthy...but I managed.

The baby has clothes in his closet (also a difficult task...I get totally BUGGED when I go into a store and see 2 racks of boy clothes versus the 15 racks of girl clothes.) It's lame, but at least I have two girls that I can still shop from those 15 racks. I also got some 'hand-me-downs' & 'lender' clothes so that is nice.

We are ready for this baby.

Darling blanket
You may need the carseat cover to keep other kids away from him when he is sleeping in it.
And I'd like to argue that Kaitlyn threw up at least as much as Avery. She always spit up all over--nearly every time she ate and then again just for good measure.

SHEESH KIM!! You are SO DANG talented! I need some lessons. I'm coming to live with you for a while so you can teach me some things (I promise I'll help out around the house while I'm there. Haha)! I love all of it! What a lucky little boy! I bet he's getting excited to come out and play now with all those cute things hand made by his mom!

All those projects are BIG and DIFFICULT projects in my book!!! I need to learn to like to sew...but I don't. I despise it. SO...WAY TO GO! Super cute stuff. I LOVE the material on the nursing cover!

AND...I have to put my wager in that Hannah was probably right up there with Avery in her spitting ability. It was awful. :P

Speaking of "lender" clothes...do you need any 0-3 months stuff? I have some onesies, pants & sleepers, if you want to use them.

I love them all! Very cute! Good luck with going into labor. I had to be "induced" and if you just ask that they start with the lowest dose petocin then it's really not bad at all. I could still sleep through my contractions up until they broke my water. Hang in there you're doing great.

Kim, you did such a great job on all your projects! Don't worry about the bumper pads, pediatricians are saying you should use them now a days anyway because of suffocations. I bought stuff to make a nursing cover too, but haven't done it yet. I only have 3 months of nursing left... don't even know if I should. We'll see. It may get made and then packed right up. LOVE the carseat cover! I saw that on the Make it and Love it blog (do you follow that?) But I'll have to make one for the next baby, Emily has already moved up in carseats. Sounds like You're ready for him... well I guess all but the name! :) Can't wait to meet him.
