Easton

Easton
Easton is the cutest little boy we know! He rightfully earned the nickname 'BEASTY' when he was a baby and it has stuck with him. He is such a sweet little mommy's boy and we are ALL at his Beck and call. Easton loves cars, snacks, and playing outside. He is talking up a storm and it seems like he learns something new every single day. He is at such a fun age. We LOVE LOVE LOVE this little guy!

Ainslee

Ainslee
Ainslee is the baby and she just turned ONE!! This child is a handful!!! She hasn't quite grown out of the difficult phase.....that she has been in since she was born, but we still find ways to find her sweet side! Hearing her baby giggles and watching her discover & learn new things make all the whininess......just a little easier to deal with. Aaaahhh, we love this Ainslee Girl!!

Avery

Avery
Oh our cute little Avery! With her blue eyes & blonde hair, she is one of the cutest 4 year olds around!! This girl is stubborn! She definitely keeps us on our toes. She is quite unpredictable, which makes for a lot of laughs! Avery is our TREAT-FREAK! We can always guess what is on her mind. My favorite thing about Avery is her smiles. She always has one for us no matter what and that makes everyones day just a little better. She attends preschool and says she doesn't like it, but secretly we know she does ;). We are so lucky to have this cute girl in our family! We can't get enough of her.

Kobe Dylan

Kobe Dylan
Kobe is our first child, born in 2004. He was 4 months early and weighed a whopping 1 lb. 4 oz.! We got to be with Kobe for 4 wonderful weeks. I feel so blessed to have been chosen to raise one of God's perfect children. We love him and thank Heavenly Father everyday that he is part of our family. We have a treasure in heaven.

Quinnlyn

Quinnlyn
Quinnie just turned 6! She is growing faster than we can keep up with! She loves going to first grade and is doing really well! She picks up on things very quickly and LOVES learning. She's seriously a sponge. Her favorite thing to do is write notes and draw pictures for her friends & family. You should see our continual stack of papers. Quinnlyn is creative & spunky & totally independant. We love her like crazy!

Avery had a Birthday

Is this girl really 3 years old? Wow!!! It doesn't seem too long ago that she was a baby...time flies when you're having fun I guess ;). Avery is a funny girl. She is full of energy...smiles....and a lot of times, just plain 'FULL OF IT'. She will definitely make you laugh every single day by some of the things she does. And on another note, she can be very frustrating at times (it's those terrible 3's). BUT, we sure love her.

AVERY @ 3:

She loves to sing, and knows most of the songs on RADIO DISNEY (or at least parts of them). It's funny to hear her singing songs such as: Demi Lavatto, Taylor Swift, Justin Beiber etc. Then of course she has her favorite primary songs that she is always singing such as: Follow the Prophet, I know that my Savior loves me, I love to see the temple, Families can be together forever, and a bunch more.

She is a good eater. She loves vegetables and fruits, and is usually very good about eating what I fix for dinner.

She still LOVES her treats/snacks. She will usually ask for a treat about 5 minutes after she is done eating a meal.

When she goes to the bathroom, she always sings made up songs or just talks 'gibberish' until she is done (and it takes her a long time to be done...unfortunately. Is that TMI???)

She DOESN'T listen at all. Even if she knows she is going to be in trouble.

She loves riding her little 3 wheeler bike, and is so proud that she can pedal by herself.

People comment on how tall she is for her age. And a lot of people think her and Quinnlyn are twins.

She doesn't want anything to do with Easton. Brett had to force her to give him a kiss the other day. It's not that she doesn't like him, she just prefers to love him at a distance. And she calls him 'IT'. "It is crying" or "It is hungry".

She still LOVES putting her pajamas on and will often ask to change into them around 4 in the afternoon.

We can't get her to stop sucking her thumb. On her birthday, she told us she was going to stop because she was 3 now....but she did it anyway. At this point, she does it without realizing it.

She eats Yogurt EVERYDAY for lunch

She loves wearing Flip-Flops, dresses, and skirts.

She still takes an afternoon nap (and let's hope that it continues!!!)

She fights with Quinnlyn a lot (and vice versa).

She's sneaky and lies already

I teach my kids to wash their hands for as long as it takes to sing "Twinkle twinkle little star" so when they sing that song in nursery and everybody is doing star actions, Avery is rubbing her hands together like she is washing them.

She will choose to eat cereal over a homemade breakfast most mornings....even if the rest of us are eating the homemade breakfast

She loves her pink/green/white blanket that she calls her 'rubby' (or wubby in 'Avery Accent') because she rubs the corner of it.

She uses baby talk a lot....which drives me crazy but oh well.

QUESTIONS I ASKED AVERY:

What is your favorite thing to eat: Carrots & chicken & rice (which is not true)

What is your favorite treat: Candy bars (not true again)

What is your favorite thing to do: Color

What is your favorite primary song: Follow the prophet

What is your favorite cereal: Captain Crunch

Who is your favorite princess: Snow White (then she said she wanted to choose two)...sleeping beauty (then she wanted to choose three)....and Jasmine

What is your favorite movie: The Letter Factory (leapfrog movie)

What is your favorite color: Pink (but she usually chooses orange or yellow)

What is your favorite thing to do with Daddy: I like to play with him (and then she turns to him and says "I love you daddy....and I like to play with you")

Avery was really anticipating her birthday this year. She was always saying "After the baby comes, then it will be my birthday". She was excited about her cake (which turned out very disappointing to me), chuck-e-cheese (I am really getting sick of that place), going to Mcdonald's for breakfast, and getting presents, and getting cards in the mail (thanks to all those who sent her one).

(Don't judge my cake skills this time)

We love you Avery!

I love your birthday posts. You always make your kids' birthday's so special! I don't know what you're talking about, being ashamed of your cake! It is adorable! I've never even come close to attempting something like that!
