Today was harder than yesterday.
Surprisingly, I woke up not hungry. Later for breakfast I had a GREEN SMOOTHIE with a bunch of spinach, strawberries, peaches, 1/2 a banana, water & ice. That was my best meal of the day. Not because it was amazing (although it was good & made me full), but because my other meals just weren’t great.
For lunch I cut up a bunch of veggies and wrapped them in lettuce. I used cauliflower, zucchini, a radish, carrots, tomatoes, garlic, & pepper. I also added some apples which made it much better.

Dinner was totally gross. I cut yellow squash & zucchini into thin strips (like spaghetti noodles) and put a puree of tomatoes, garlic, pepper & avocado. I couldn’t get myself to eat it all, so I dumped it and ate some cantaloupe.
I am not looking forward to the next 5 days. Meal time is not enticing AT ALL! I am still craving carbs, but it’s only REALLY difficult when I make the girls their meals. I am not hungry, but I am totally unsatisfied.
Why am I doing this?
- My friend talked me into it
- I might lose a few pounds
- I might feel great & less tired
- It might reduce my sugar addiction
Will I stay on a raw food diet? No way. I already miss warm, cooked food.
I made me some Raw Banana ‘Ice cream’ with walnuts & strawberries for dessert and it was wonderful!! A great end to my so-so day (in the way of food).
